Embracing “Jack of All Trades” Build a Business Website in 2 Days

As an advocate of the ‘product first‘ approach at SerenDPT.studio, we’ve always focused on delivering maximum value to our projects and customers. This dedication meant that developing our own website was not our immediate priority. However, the time has come to share our journey and the methods behind building our business website in a mere 48 hours.

The initial step involved leveraging ChatGPT from OpenAI for structuring our content and services. This AI tool was instrumental in ensuring our website echoed our ‘product first’ philosophy. Additionally, I utilized Perplexity for research and exploring diverse website layouts.

Choosing a Domain Name

A critical step was choosing the right domain name. I used resources like Namechk and Looka’s Business Name Generator for brainstorming. However, the name ‘SerenDPT’ was a result of human creativity (YEY ME!)

Setting Up with WordPress and Hostinger

For our website, flexibility and reliability were key, so I chose WordPress and Hostinger. Hostinger’s one-click setup and their offer of a free domain streamlined the process, marking a significant upgrade from GoDaddy/Bluehost.

The design phase was crucial. I opted for the ASTRA theme and used Coolors for color scheme inspiration. For specific color extraction, I used the Colour Picker Chrome Extension. The website’s visual appeal was further enhanced with free icons from Flaticon.

Creating Engaging Video Content

For video content, I employed Pika.art and RunwayML. The process began with creative prompts on Midjourney for generating initial visuals.

Generating an initial script

Using Pika Enhance GPTs i managed to create a simple 20 sec script including the actual prompt per scence , all i had to do is to give it the theme and frame of context

Can you create a series of prompts for a 20-second video that highlights themes of AI innovation, gaming dynamics, retail technology, strategy integration, and a closing brand message? Each scene should have specific parameters for aspect ratio, motion, and camera movement.

result was pretty nice;

Scene 1: AI Innovation (3 sec)
"Futuristic AI brain with digital neurons, glowing connections, in a dark, high-tech environment. -gs 20 -ar 16:9 -motion 2"
Scene 2: Gaming Dynamics (4 sec)
"Dynamic gaming scene showcasing virtual reality, immersive graphics, and players engaged in an interactive game world. -gs 18 -ar 16:9 -motion 3 -camera pan right"
Scene 3: Retail Technology (4 sec)
"Modern retail space with advanced technology, interactive displays, and holographic product presentations. -gs 16 -ar 16:9 -motion 2 -camera zoom in"

Scene 3;

Scene 4: Strategy and Integration (7 sec)
"Seamless integration of AI, gaming, and retail tech in a strategic business environment, showing a network of connected devices and interfaces. -gs 22 -ar 16:9 -motion 2 -camera rotate cw"
Scene 5: Closing with Brand Message (2 sec)
"Elegant, sleek SerenDPT studio logo emerging, with the tagline 'Blending Technology and Strategy' in a futuristic font, on a backdrop of a digital world map. -gs 24 -ar 16:9 -motion 1"

These prompts helped in generating unique and eye-catching visuals that resonated with our brand’s innovative spirit.

This generated quite a few scenes which i used and edited in CapCut;

But i wanted to do something different …

I Used a Midjourney prompt created an image of myself watching the sunrise, aiding in crafting a narrative for our brand.

cinematic wide angle back view of an thin adult geek, jeans, purple flannel long sleeve shirt , camel vans shoes, pov shaved head adult ,black reading glasses ,long black beard looking up at the dark sky’s horizon at the minutes before sunrise darkest hour with some stars sparkling --ar 3:2 --v 6

Animating the image with Pika.Art and converting it to a short scene was super easy;

Looking at the sky. One hand in pocket, wind, Sunrise slowly -gs 22 -ar 16:9 -motion 6 -camera rotate cw

The final Editing was done using CapCut incorporating all the different assets and before uploading it to our server – i used FreeConvert for video file conversion and compression, ensuring that the content was web-ready.

Incorporating an Avatar Video

Adding a personal touch, I created an avatar video with D-ID, which enhanced user engagement and showcased our innovative edge.
